Industry meeting for precast concrete experts in Salzburg

"Prefabrication in Transition" – Building Industry Optimistic Towards the Future 

Around 360 experts from the precast concrete industry met at the Salzburg Congress in Salzburg/Austria for the Engineering Days 2024 on 26 and 27 November 2024. 

Guided by the topic “Prefabrication in transition”, there were intensive discussions on how innovations can shape the future of the industry. However, an overall positive atmosphere prevailed despite the challenging business environment: new contacts were established, future plans drawn up and forward-looking ideas developed. 

Record number of exhibitors and thematic highlights 

The organizers ALLPLAN, RIB-SAA and Prilhofer Consulting were able to set a new record with 43 exhibitors. 

With exciting presentations, interesting workshops and an inspiring panel discussion, the event provided numerous ideas for innovation and collaboration in the construction industry. 

A special highlight was the gala dinner, which provided an opportunity to exchange ideas in a relaxed atmosphere. 

A look into the future of prefabricated element production 

The product “prefabricated element” and industrial construction in general - often also referred to as serial or modular construction - with its perfect characteristics for fast construction with the highest quality at the same time, must be brought even more into the awareness of architects and end customers.
