Engineering Days China 2023
1st Sino-European International Conference on Building Technology & Green Development
Engineering Days China was held again in Beijing on April 21-22, 2023. Nearly 50 experts, scientists and entrepreneurs from China and Europe from related fields were invited to discuss and exchange ideas on highly topical issues in the field of the industrialized construction.
570 delegates attended the event on-site, and an additional 4900 participants joined virtually the event.
Focused on the main objectives "Building Technology and Green Development, Industrialization and Digitalization", an innovative program with lectures held by leading companies in the precast concrete industry was presented.
The main topics this year were:
- Intelligent construction
- Green low-carbon building
- Distributed energy transformation & building industrialization
- New building industrialization system
Exciting lectures on various topics of precast concrete production
Three lectures were presented by Mr. Christian Prilhofer (CEO) / Prilhofer Consulting:
- "Staff education for the precast production” - precast is a different way to build not just another material, education is the key to success.
- “How Europe overcome the down turn time” - a lot of precast production facilities are already in use, it is necessary to upgrade these facilities for the new prefab challenges.
- “Prefabrication of new sustainable buildings” – modern precast production offers all possibilities to produce sustainable buildings.
The Engineering Days establish themselves as a specialist conference on the subject of industrialized construction
Since 2016 where the first congress was held in China Engineering Days has become an established platform for the building industry in China. In this time the advantages of the precast concrete technology and innovations were presented to Chinese real estate developers and construction companies.
Our summary of the Engineering Days China 2023
This year's congress made a decisive contribution to strengthening the interest of the Chinese market in precast concrete technology. All speakers emphasized the importance of industrial production of precast concrete elements as the only way to lead China and the world to a sustainable and successful construction industry.
