Modernization of precast concrete production
Established in 1972, Gmundner Fertigteile produces high-quality precast concrete parts for railway crossings, platforms and technical buildings at its factory in Ohlsdorf (Austria).
In cooperation with Prilhofer Consulting, a comprehensive modernisation and upgrade of the existing precast production has been developed. The goal was to perfectly integrate medium and long-term activities with the company's strategic objectives.
Tender process for system technology and production layout
Prilhofer Consulting further supported the tendering process for the new plant technology, including crane systems, concrete distribution, tilting tables and the design of the storage area. Prilhofer Consulting's experts were also involved in the planning of the new production building.
The production in the new hall started in autumn 2024.
Gmundner Fertigteile, an experienced specialist for precast concrete elements in the areas of transport and energy, has planned to modernise and upgrade its already existing precast concrete element production.
Prilhofer Consulting as an independent consultant with many years of experience and extensive expertise in factory planning was appointed by Gmundner Fertigteile for the strategic consulting and planning of the new precast concrete production for this investment project.
