Design of a Plant Incorporating Innovative Technologies for Precast Concrete Production

Within the nesseler Group, nesseler bau gmbh is the expert for turnkey construction of functional buildings for commercial and public use, turnkey residential buildings, as well as structural works and precast concrete elements, with its headquarters in Aachen and additional branches in Frankfurt and Essen.

Following the decision to gradually relocate the existing precast concrete production facility to a new site, it became necessary to carry out factory layout planning for the new precast concrete plant.

Prilhofer Consulting developed the factory layout planning for the new plant in such a way that the relocation to the new site could be carried out step by step by product groups, while also providing the possibility for future expansion of the precast concrete production.

Tendering process for precast plant technology and coordination of the overall planning

In addition, Prilhofer Consulting supported the tendering process for the new plant technology, including the concrete batching plant, systems for concrete transport and distribution, reinforcement production, tilting tables, column moulds, girder moulds with prestressing equipment, crane systems, as well as run-off systems and the design of the storage yard.

The experts at Prilhofer Consulting also supported the coordination of the overall planning of the new production halls.

The new precast concrete production facility was officially commissioned on October 1, 2025.
