Kerstoel 2000+ was approaching Prilhofer Consulting with the intension to build a fully flexible production plant.

Prilhofer Consulting was then developing a bespoke but versatile production plant for solid and Double walls. The production system unites flexibility and efficiency when producing solid and Double walls by using production islands instead of a line production as usual in the past. An automated reinforcement production completes the concept

The production unit needs a building with 4.880 m² and can produce 400,000 m² of placed concrete. The plant was finished end of 2019 and then set into production

Soon after start of production it was obvious that the performance of the plant was comparable with a production line plant. But flexibility was three times higher

Kerkstoel 2000+ as one of the most important producers of half precast parts and the pioneer of automated production units in Belgium wanted to have a general planner and partner for the implementation of the project. Target of the cooperation with a consulting firm was to create the entry into new products and production technologies.

Kerktoel 2000+ is among the pioneers of half precast producers in Belgium and is using automated production plants since 1993.
