After taking over the company Keller-Bau, Goldbeck immediately began to develop the location in accordance with its own criteria and the required product range of precast concrete elements.
Prilhofer Consulting developed the master planning for Goldbeck, starting with the design of the stockyard and the planning for the new concrete mixing plant. The tender for the mixing plant was made by Goldbeck on the basis of the specifications prepared by Prilhofer Consulting and the plant went into operation in 2015.
After this milestone was reached, the cooperation for the development of the new production halls was continued in 2016. The reasonable use of three of the four existing halls at the location was taken into consideration as well as an optimal plant and layout planning for three additional new halls under the given limited space conditions at the location. New office building and traffic routing were also important aspects for the master planning of Prilhofer Consulting.
In 2017, the tender for a new circulation system began, occupying two of the three new halls. The pallet carousel system is designed with individual production islands for maximum production flexibility for the product variety of Goldbeck. This includes various solid wall systems in insulated and non-insulated design as well as solid slabs and pre-stressed ribbed slabs for the production in the pallet carousel system.
In 2019, the pallet carousel system was finally successfully put into operation and supplies Goldbeck's construction projects with high-quality precast elements. At the same time the column production was reorganized and its efficiency was significantly increased by concreting using pumps and concreting boom.
With the development of the Vöhringen location, Goldbeck continues the cooperation with Prilhofer Consulting for the location in Hamm, which was started in 2010. Despite the in-house planning competence, the independent consulting and the know-how of Prilhofer Consulting is an essential success factor for the successful implementation of the projects.
As a medium-sized, family-owned group, Goldbeck is one of the driving forces in the commercial and municipal construction industry. A key element of their service portfolio is the planning, construction and management of office buildings, warehouses and parking garages. Recent additions to the portfolio include accommodation blocks such as senior citizens' homes and student halls of residence. Goldbeck offers integrated solutions from a single source.
Building is done with system components that are mainly produced in their own factories. Therefore, orders can be executed quickly and economically. A high degree of prefabrication guarantees a consistently high standard of construction and allows for short construction times on site, virtually regardless of the weather. Project-oriented planning ensures an on-time delivery of the individual components and thus a rapid assembly phase. The use of modern technology and professional logistics are the prerequisites for high efficiency when building with system components.
The company produces the majority of the system components itself, but some are manufactured externally, for example if relatively simple concrete structures cannot be produced economically in their own facilities due to transportation logistics.
